Where light, shadow and truth coexist.

About

I’m Thaddeus Miles.

I’ve spent much of my life working in public service and community leadership, helping to build spaces rooted in care, equity, and connection. Alongside that work, I’ve always been a storyteller, through writing, photography, music, and reflection, using creativity as a way to make sense of the world and my place in it.

This site is where my personal work comes together. Here I share selected writing from Medium, early drafts and chapters from new books, short stories, and reflections that don’t live anywhere else. You’ll also find occasional music, digital media, and weekly Heart Whispers, small offerings shaped by a life lived at the intersection of community, wellness, art, and becoming.

After years in traditional and corporate spaces, I’m intentionally moving toward a slower, more embodied chapter, one rooted in wellness, presence, and care as I step into my golden years. This shift isn’t about leaving work behind; it’s about choosing work that nourishes the whole self and creates room for joy, breath, and reflection.

My primary photography work lives on my main site. This space holds the quieter work, the inner work, the practices, questions, and moments that help me stay grounded as I continue becoming.

I am still becoming.
In all its shades.
